Program Educational Goals:
1. To train computer engineers who are currently pursuing or have completed graduate programs in Turkey or abroad,
2. Can start their businesses or contribute to society in their field,
3. Can work in national and international companies, research and development organizations, or the public sector in computer software/hardware.
Program Outcomes:
1. Basic Science: Adequate knowledge of mathematics, science and basic engineering; ability to practice theoretical and practical knowledge of these areas into modeling and solving problems of Engineering
2. Computer Engineering: An ability to identify, describe, formulate and solve problems in Computer Engineering and related fields; for this purpose having skills to choose and apply proper analysis and modeling methods
3. Design: An ability to design a complex system, process and component with modern design methods to meet desired needs within realistic constraints.
4. Tool Usage: An ability to develop, select and apply modern techniques and tools needed for Engineering applications.
5. Testing and Analysis: An ability to design and conduct tests, collect data, analyze results, and interpret data for the experimental investigation of Computer Engineering problems.
6. Teamwork: An ability to function within the discipline and on multidisciplinary teams effectively.
7. Communication Skill: Communicating effectively in oral and written form in Turkish and one foreign language.
8. Lifelong Learning: Awareness of the necessity of lifelong learning, access to information, monitoring developments in science and technology and the ability to self-renewal continually.
9. Ethic: Understanding of professional and ethical responsibility
10. Entrepreneurship and Project Management: Information on project management, change management and risk management practices, awareness on entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainable development.
11. Environment: Information about universal and societal effects of engineering applications on health, safety and environment; awareness of the legal consequences of engineering solutions.
